Writing the book was easy!

I thought of Lindy and Reggie in Little Bridge and wondered what they would do next. I knew what the ending was going to be, and I just had to find a way to get them to that place. The most stressful part of it was getting it on line to publish and then to get back the proofs to check again and then resend.

Mandy Meadows my daughter was the one who had the patience to go through all the instructions on the Kindle website and eventually download my precious script.

She is a photographer and treats the world wide web as a friend.

She is patient with it.

Unlike me.

The worst part as far as stress is concerned, is that to cover themselves they give the customer an expected time of delivery way ahead of what you want. However I did not have to wait long and finally after two draft copies the books are now on their way to arrive in plenty of time for the 2023 Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair at Northwood House Cowes on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

I have been asked many times, ‘When is the sequel coming out?’ and ‘Is this going to be a trilogy?’ Well yes to both questions. The second book is called Sparkles in the Navy-Blue Sky and I have already started on the third book.

I am so glad to hear that you are enjoying the book and want more. I will be at Northwood on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th April, ready to meet you and sign a book for you. I have kept the price at £8.00 if you buy at the fair or from me personally.

Maria Ward the artist who designed the cover and did the illustrations suggested that I put together a colouring book of all the pictures. I have put two together, one for each book and it is in the hands of the printer as I write.

I’m afraid I haven’t got a price for this yet, that will depend on how much it has cost to print it.
